Join us for some hands-on beekeeping! This class is part of the Natural Beekeeping Certificate program or can be taken alone.  It will focus on basic hive inspections for new beekeepers. Learn how to properly protect yourself from the bees, how to use your smoker and what to look for when inspecting a hive all first-hand!  We will also spend some time talking about where to place your hive in your yard, what you can do to minimize their presence in a smaller yard, and how to protect your pets and neighbors.

If you attended the Introduction to Beekeeping class and are ready for the next step this class is it! Please note, the Introduction to Beekeeping class is a prerequisite to this one. Please only sign up if you have already attended the Intro to Beekeeping class.
